Three coats of semi gloss tung oil hand rubbed. I love the finish. Tom Daugherty

Very nice. Looks like a slot port on the top? I like the idea of the grills stopping short & leaving the vent exposed. Very unique! Awesome grain pattern on the sides! I hope your friend appreciates all the work that must have gone into them.

Thanks for the compliment. Not covering the slot ports seamed like the thing to do. Mike has seen alot of my work. He has five of my guitars that I built for him. 2 bases, 2 tele's, and a tele baritone. Tom Daugherty
