Thank you all for accepting me back
It means a lot. The head shrink poster is right. I should not use this board for my support group. I will seek out some professional psychologist and work through my problems.
What I really wanted to say was Thank You All! You are all my friends and I don't want to loose any of you.
To that end I will keep my personal life to emails with you guys instead of the public board. With all my heart, THANKS!

Go
We've all got something in our past that we'd love to have a chance to do over.
Glad you've got the chance to move on.
And now back to speaker building and other important things!

Paul,
I hope you can come to Dallas at the end of the month. And I have to agree we all need to take responsibility for our actions. At the end of the day we are ourselves and nothing else.
I would love to hear the faucets... Plus I have a new design that I will be debuting that I think you might enjoy.

Re: Thank you all for accepting me back
My son graduates on the 22nd at White Sands Missle Range so I will be in the area. It's closer to Dallas from White Sands than to Dallas to Corpus. I will do my best to come.

Please read the Tech Talk Guidelines!
Here's the short version:
"The Tech Talk technical discussion forum is provided and maintained by Parts Express as a free service to those looking to trade technical information and insight. As it's name implies, posts on this board are to be limited to technical discussions ONLY."
If you are here to discuss topics according to the PE guidelines, then it's good to have you as a contributor.
-
It's all about judgment
Bluntly, if we only did what that rule says, we would have very little fun around here. The issue is using judgment in what you say and how you say it.

I will do my very best to keep it a technical, pleasant environment to help people out.

About the Coop Neil...
Neil,
I have in the past month been dedicating my time rebuilding a new site built on the .NET framwork using ASP.NET. Give me a few weeks and maybe that can be my contribution to the coop. Once it shows, it will be far from finished. I will need guidance on what is needed, what needs to be changed, what direction it needs to take, and all the analyst stuff that goes when making a program. In return, I ask for nothing.

It's just the Internet, don't forget that.

Re: About the Coop Neil...
Provided Link: Audio Developers
Thanks, but I just got one of those Costco business web sites that give you tons of bandwidth and storage, along with 200 email addresses, forum support, etc.
I looked into getting the audio.coop domain, and it is available, but you have to be an established cooperative, adhering to the 7 principles and so forth. But after some reading about coops and talking through some ideas with Aaron Hammett, it became more clearer that what I wanted to do was partly cooperative and partly collaborative. I grabbed the domain name audiodevelopers.com since it seemed to fit the overall concept fairly well.
Right now there is a very wordy front page up that describes my intentions. It will get re-written as this evolves. I'll start putting together some "hidden" pages for people to review in the next few weeks, but it's going to take time. There are about 4 other projects lined up ahead of it and I ended up replacing the window regulator assembly in our Mountaineer today--that wasn't how I had hoped to spend my time.

Yep.
I had some additional commentary in my post to that effect, but deleted it, hoping that somebody else would be able to say it better. I like the way you put it.

Re: About the Coop Neil...
Wow, they actually have a decent web site laid out the way I like it. Header, Menu to left, content to right of menu and a footer. I've been preaching to people about this style for a decade. I'll keep plugging ahead on mine and use it for something at some point in time. I bookmarked it.

Re: You want to hear running water?
Paul's creations are the Crown Facets, not faucets. ;>)

Re: Oh, darn...
No more zingers directed at Dan about the Sacramento Klinks, or Queens, or whatever (or back at me about the Los Angeles Slackers)!

So far so good! I like your graphics. Did you get my email about scanning in the Profusion module?

I'll just mail the module. I bought two of them because they have a minimum charge of $49 for "carriage" from England (ouch!) One module is yours; one is mine. I'll get enough parts to build two boards, but I got the feeling you were making some substitutions, so I need a parts list. I can wait to send the module until I get the parts or send it this week--your call.
I changed the template for the web site. They use a program called WebsiteCreator that helps set up the menus, fonts, graphics, etc. Obviously a German company--select "show source" and look at the comments. It comes with about 70 templates for consumer electronics, and there are many other categories. Very easy to use.
