Default Xover case progress(no pics yet)...

I have them sealed, sanded, primed, and a couple coats of paint on them. I decided to leave the inside white as well. It just looks really nice that way. I added arrow field-points for floor spikes. It's unnecessary, but I wanted the long bottom-edges to be more visible to the eye. As soon as the paint is to taste, it's time to install and wire! I made up the terminal plates for the input-end today as well. I used 1/4" clear-acrylic, and the edges are *fairly* polished. I used the Miter-saw to cut them, and the dremel drill-bit on high to smooth out the edges like a rasp. It worked rather well. To make the holes, I used spade-bits. The toothed corners really did well in the plastic, and going slow, made a nice hole. It didn't crack, but melted as it drilled. It was a busy day for me!

I wanted to cut out the "Triumph" pair today, but I didn't get that far.

So are you going to have them sit separately or are you planning on attaching them to the back of the cabinets?

Right now, sit separately. Down the road- They may end up like the Watt/Puppy shape if I augment with a woofer cab. This will involve attaching to the rear of the woofer cab via 4 Neo magnets most likely. Currently, the cable is long enough to reach the floor in a 2ft stand-placed arrangement.

Wolf, you never cease to amaze me with you talent for taking seemingly useless objects and making them into artistic reality. I can't wait to see the finished product. Wow, you deserve a pat on the back.

Dude- Are you trying to butter me up for something? I feel like you are really placing me on a pedestal lately. What have I done that warrants such high praise? Not that I dislike compliments, so you are welcome to keep them coming. Thank you for your kind words,

I'm glad it's working as it should! I just felt like I was singled-out as a guru by your last few replies. I am glad you think highly of me, and I think you are a great woodworker. I haven't heard one of yours yet. Let's get back to building! Enough of this un-macho crap!
