Default Rubyk-revealed! *PIC*

I have to touch up the lines in places, and give a clear-coat, but the 'solved' left one is done.
    Here's a pair of pics:

These are 6.5" cubes. 3" fullrange with supertweeter, and 3.5" PR in the side.

I think the hand of someone who did model airplanes / cars of some sort is revealed here. Am I right? Rubyk mskes a fine pair of totally unusual PC/desktop speakers. They are going to look really good.

I ordered enough parts for 5 crossovers, and two out of 5 cabinets are glued together (front baffles removed, of course). I am looking forward to hearing them in-box. And on the Woofer Tester 2, is the one offered on the WT2 website any good? It looks like a great piece of equipment to have around.

    Cheers / Robert

WHERE did you get a three and a half inch passive radiator???? Or did you just chop the motor off one of those little TB's?

There is a 3.5" and 5.25" PR available from Peerless. About $15.

I only did about 2-3, and I wasn't more than 10. Dad helped with the small stuff. I never really got into it.

    Shortly- this will occur!

    And

It has a higher output level than the one PE offered, and can be purchased with the WT2 Pro. I have the Dayton rendition, and it is a priceless tool for spec-less, or mythical-spec'd drivers.

Great job! Glad to see i'm not the only weird one here (jk)). 6.5" cube external, with 3/4"? What is the xover layout? Would this be suitable for HiVi B3S/N's? I'm thinking maybe dice, monopoly house, etc. How wide is the chamfer on the edges? I bought one from HF, just waiting for it to get here...

    .5" MDF.

Zaph has a Xover for the B3S. The T/S and FR are different. I would try it *sealed* in this box with zaph's xover.

    About .5", almost mdf thickness.

I guess touchups aren't avoidable on these. =-I

I have one pic with an actual Rubiks cube for size-factor here, and I'm liking the outcome. I should be able to clear-coat them this weekend!

    Another pic:
    http://i18.photobucket.com/albums/b1...r/100_2671.jpg

Then- it's gluing up the Triumph to take(raw MDF), and the Scandivifias will get the rest of my building time. I have a LOT of sanding to accomplish after glue-up.

I've been aware of that fact for some time now! It doesn't seem to bother me though. I'm glad you like them! =-) You should ask your wife if the SAF is high.

I didn't know you were actually going to make them LOOK like the Rubiks cubes! What did wifey think about that?

You know what's funny is a few people in my class have been really getting into the rubiks cubes lately, mostly on account of one guy who can solve the thing in seconds.
