    Default Stuff for Sale

I have Harman Kardon AVR520 A/V receiver with the original box, manual and both remotes. The receiver is in excellent physical condition. It has the modification installed to resolve issues with no sound under some conditions per the HK service bulletin H/K2003-07.

The other issue with the HK AVR series receivers is unexplained intermittent problems. A discussion with a HK service tech revealed that these problems stem from bad solder joints on the connectors on the main board that the other boards, such as the DSP, input and output boards plug into. These connectors have all been resoldered and cleaned. This receiver has been running without issues in my audio lab for over 5 months.

I purchased this for a custom home theater installation for a client project that was cancelled. I will eventually put this on eBay, but am offering it to all here first.

I also have some other equipment that I purchased for this project that I will be selling shortly.

Another part of this project was a pair of tower speakers with 4 pt2 planar tweeters, 4 peerless 830344 midbass drivers and a Dayton DVC 12" sub woofer triamped with a Behringer DCX2496 and 3 kenwood Basic M2 power amps. The cabinets are 60" tall x 15" wide x 18" deep and weight about 150lbs empty.

I do not intend to sell these speakers, but plan to publish info about the project. More to come on this.

    Dan
