That you in that one pic? Lookin' pretty young there...and those speakers are lookin' pretty fine! Can't wait to see what finish you'll be using and how you like the sound! BTW, you need more speakers! My grandpa, who was an accomplished motorcyclist, said you can never have too many motorcycles...as a m'cyclist myself and speaker builder, I say never too many bikes and never too many speakers! J/K! Nice work...

Actually thats my uncle. He didn't have any grey in his hair until starting these speakers. LOL... He's used to rectangles. These were a little more difficult especially since there are two enclosures. Getting them lined up and square took a little more effort. So far I think the looks of this design is so much nicer in person than from a photo. Very sleek and yet there is some weight to it. He's going to veneer them with maple fronts and cherry on the top bottom and sides. As for me I just started building the Dayton RS 3- ways TMWW with the Seas tweeter found on HTGuide.com.

Ill keep posting pics as we go.

Default Actually, yes that part IS hard

Sans the drivers, my Cinderellas are in similar shape right now. And yeah, it was sort of a conundrum as to how to get two separate cabs flush all the way along a solid front baffle. One of them went together fine. The other one, however, was about 1/4" shy of being flush with the front baffle by the time you got to the top. I let the problem sit for a few days; came back from Indiana DIY and decided "what the hell" and filed away at the top of the bottom enclosure, and sat on it with a power sander. 10-15 minutes later, everything was flush and ready to go! Nothing like brute force.

The whole speaker an unusual shape for an amateur woodworker such as myself--or anyone used to right angles. I can't believe I actually did it with a circular saw and screw n' glue!

And the anticipation builds, for tonight, I believe the electronics will be ordered! (giant grin)
