I need to replace the connector on my auto antenna (because the radio was stolen and antenna wire/connector was cut off. Can you help provide instructions to repair/replace the connector and where I might finds replacement connectors?

Would something like one of these be of use? you could strip an adaptor and bind it to the previous connection.:

If I'm reading your question right, this is what you're looking for. I'm not sure how it installs on the cable, whether it is a solder or crimp connection, maybe someone else can give a little insight on this.

Another option if you have a RadioShack nearby is part number 274-709. Its a bit more expensive, but the convenience may be worth it.
