This the RA-8 kit I got from RAW. Al and Danny have been very helpful. Everything is together and they sound great. I have the backs of the cabinets on with screws right now because I didn't trust myself. The lack of a good seal is hurting SQ a bit, but they still beat up on the Modula MT's I had there before.

Eventually, the TV, speakers, equipment, and a BIG sub will be recessed into that wall behind where stuff is now. It used to be a furnace and a wet bar. I also plan to plaster over the lovely brick on the fireplace to the right.

This is how I get around the WAF. I can have big speakers, I just have to find a way to hide them.

Next step is to take them apart, glue the backs on, get the boxes ready, and send them to a friend who is going to do a hand rubbed black finish that will match the cones on the woofs.

Here's my son, helping me with the open cell foam and working on wiring...or drinking rootbeer one of those.
