I just saw a preview on .Mac it looks interesting. Personally, I won't buy unless it offers soemthing great over Tiger, which I use now.

Mac's also making a Beta Version of Safari for XP/Vista, so all you PCers can see what a real browser looks like

I was really disappointed when it was pushed back until fall but they aren't going to release something unless it's really right so I'm fine with the delay. The feature I'm wanting to bite into the most right now is Time Machine. It will make my backups a little more interesting to say the least. Hopefully it works as advertised. I'm hoping to have the time to watch the WWDC keynote speech later on this evening. Yeah, I'm a self-professed Steve Jobs admirer so I haven't missed a keynote in many years. Did you see the interview from D5 with him and Bill Gates? It was rather mesmerizing for me seeing two of the pioneers of personal computing in a nice sit-down event, the first in years.

As for the browser issue, well I have to confess that I haven't used Safari in a long time. I went to Firefox many moons ago and haven't looked back since. Seeing how there's no third-party development going on (yet) for the iPhone I'll have to get used to Safari on another level soon but I have a feeling that the outsiders will be let in on developing software for the new gizmo.
