    Default Hole size for ND16/ND20?

Does anyone have the mounting hole size for the ND16 or ND20 front mount tweeters? I'm sure it's metric, which isn't a problem...

I use a 1-1/4" spade bit for the ND20. I then use a 1/4" rabbet set at about 3/32 deep for the flush mount. Then I take my dremel and sand the 1-1/4" hole out just a bit and usually they go in with the right amount of friction.

Same for the rear mount ND20. The ND16 is a 1.25" hole, sanded lightly, and a *slight* bevel on the edge to aid in insertion, and matching the lip on the tweeter. A rubber mallot is needed to *whack* it in place.

You're talking "sanded lightly"...I just want the tweeter's mounting hole size in MM. I don't want to sand some 30 holes.

Here's a link for the bit when it was last discussed.

Just an FYI. McMaster-Carr sells reasonably priced metric holesaws.

I was doing some shopping there for some hardware and I somehow ended up looking at holesaws and such. Very decent price indeed. That place is about as bad as PE when it comes to relieving me of my money. Too many goodies to be had.
