Finally got off the couch and did something with the drivers and wood I had sitting around. These aren't meant to be clones of the LS3/5a, but just look-a-likes.

This is my favourite of the boxes I've built so far. If the veneering and finishing go well, I may upgrade the drivers.

Nice job! How do those Silver Flute drivers sound? Their price vs. build quality has got my attention but I've yet to try them. Be sure to post some pics when they're finished.

Tweeter is the Vifa D27TG-45-06, its called the PL27TG-35-06 now

I may keep them sealed. If I do port them, they will be front ported, that way I will only need a new baffle if I change my mind.

I don't know yet. I've had them for at least two years and haven't even checked if they work.

The build/feel is very good for this price point. Some folks reported they sound ok. Others won't bother with a woofer this inexpensive.
