Just saw this little gem over at AllElectronics. Might be good to scavenge for drivers, or to pretty up for some nearfield monitors.

Heck, for 8 bucks a pop I would think it's some safe doodling fodder. I might pick up a pair for myself and see what happens. It's been more fun for me lately to play around with stuff like this rather than more serious designs.

I should have read the description a bit closer because I missed the fact the price was for a pair. So now I have four of the darn things heading my way soon. I have an idea of how to pretty them up a bit so we'll see if that works once I have them in my hands.

Did you miss the "unbreakable" part? Oft is the time I back away from a challenge of damage, I think not. I have no idea what to do with these, aside from the aforementioned.

I saw that part. We'll see about that muhahahaha. I won't know until I get them if my great cover-up plan will work or not. Fingers are crossed.

I'm rather deft (or daft depending on who you ask) with the Dremelator. I'm betting on some of that action to go down along with some bafflelation to hide the inherent uglies. Gonna be a funny looking project anyway you shake or bake it.
