    Default Passive Sub upgrade

I have 2 passive sealed subwoofers, Dayton 3.0 cabinets w/ a 15" RS (Reference Series) High Fidelity speaker in each. Rated at 500w, they are connected in series to the Dayton HPSA 1000R sub amp. 500w to the speakers, 8 ohms to the amp and absolutely no distortion. Part of an audio/video surround system, my intention was handling the long, low bass lines in movies.
Problem is I can hear the bass roll off and want more performance w/o losing the clean bass.
I have 2 of these amps, they produce 1Kw at 4 ohms. Should I replace the speakers with the RS High Output or the Titanic Mk III with an amp for each sub? I know the sealed cabinet has a price, db and low frequency, but I love the tightness and low distortion of a sealed cabinet. Suggestions would be appreciated.

You're using probably PE's ultimate sealed sub driver there. Niether the HO15 or the TIII model any lower. You COULD put the HF15 in a 5 cf box and stuff it, but that's about it. Seems like it would be clean to 30 Hz.

Does that amp have any lift? I think you could extend it a bit more with 1dB of boost @ 40 Hz, +3dB @ 30, and maybe +5 @ 25, but I'd think you'd want to rapidly roll off there, like a rumble filter.

You could try a passive radiator, though I cannot comment on the sound, having not heard one in many years.

If you are using a(n) HT reciever it should have different settings of which should feature bass enhancement settings, like "game".
