How lucky am I? *PIC*

To have a lovely girlfriend who supports my speaker building hobby (obsession...) and does not mind the speaker bits & parts all over the living room loor (at times). I feel privileged:-)

Yeah, but can she design a good crossover? nt
-
Well, she knows it's the "brain" of the speaker-) *NM*

I'm guessing that this picture was taken moments before she saw the Madisound charge on the Mastercard!
You're a lucky guy, Stefan. This little hobby is but one of a long list of reasons why I'm 'flying solo' these days....(sob, sob, sob...ha, right!)

Who Cares About her...
Check out that hot SEAS Millenium tweeter.
Yeah!
-
You guys are FUNNY :-) :-)
She does not know what the whole kit cost - she does not need to know......methinks
The whole Thor kit is lovely - stil haven't come round to finishing it - stil deciding.

Black baffle with a cherry stained maple will really make the copper 'accents' pop. Secure the baffle to the box with copper fasteners too for a real sharp finish!
Do you think I could get my own DIY Speaker show on HGTV, maybe something called 'driver Design, with marty!!!' Nah, they want me to dress better and start hitting the gym. Like that'll ever happen!

needs psycho-therapy
Despite the fact that she's obviously young enough to be my grandaughter, she is really cute.
Given the choice between living with a caring and pretty young lady like her, and having a speaker hobby, I'd ditch the speakers and never look back.
Anyone who'd do otherwise has a serious mental illness and should seek psycho-therapy.

Speakers are a cheaper hobby than a woman . . .

Now, what's that therapist's name?

Something else that's cheaper...
> Now, what's that therapist's name?
Even motorcyling is cheaper than one of those, um, what do you guys say...oh yeah, wife. I have this shirt that one of my girlfriends gave me. It says "You never see a motorcycle in front if a psychiatrist office". HA!

Or did it say "My Motorcycle Doesn't Complain When I Ride Other Motorcycles" .

Re: Something else that's cheaper...
For some real fun, try making a plaster mold of her, then use the mold to make some speakers.

Hey, I have one of those t-shirts, also! I have a bunch like that...I was gonna say that for any new girl that comes over, I tell 'em "This motorcycle is my wife, so you can be the mistress". Didn't want to sound like an arrogant bastard, though. I am just heartless...

I don't think I could get any of them to stand still long enough! An idea, though! I have a friend who does molds/model-making for a movie studio...I already know where the tweeters will be! No, maybe not, comb filtering using 2 tweeters.

P.S. A new Duc dealer just opened up a couple of week ago over in Indy. Guess I better go over soon .

I'll refrain. As bad as what came to my twisted mind was, I'll refrain.

You poor nerdy dudes...
Clearly none of you have ever lived with a beautiful caring young woman. I did and still do, even if she's not young anymore.
I feel so bad for you guys.
All you have is motorcycles and speakers and the internet.
You're beyond psychotherapy.

That's great Stefan. But let me warn you, lest you get blindsided. What they say and do BEFORE they rope you in, is one thing. It is what the say and do AFTER you have made the committment that really counts.
I can tell you that the one thing you can pretty much count on with a woman is that she thinks she can 'change' you once she owns you. And you may be surprised at the success they have at doing what they start out to do.
Trust me on this one. Been there, done that.
