My newest Home Theater project *PIC*

This setup is in my third bedroom/exercise room where I have my weightlifting and rowing machines. New last weekend is a 32" Panasonic flat panel LCD replacing a 13" 20 y/o Emerson. I have two extra 2.0 sound systems. A vintage setup using a Sherwood S-7300 Connected to two Epicure 11's (large ported box, 6 1/2 inch woofers, and EPI inverted dome tweeters). The second system are modern RCA speakers with 5 1/4 inch woofer and Mylar domes. These are the speakers I blew the woofer on when an amp died spectacularly, and had to locate a replacement woofer last fall. Driving the RCA's is an old-style T-amp. Both systems sound fine, but in some ways I prefer the sound of the T-Amp system.I may build or buy a small sub for these at some point in time. I can see that 6 1/2 inch Tang Band sub in this application.

Geese Dave,
You have enough speakers and subs to outfit a couple of full size theaters! I like the home made screen for the projector. Is it bright enough with the lights on to see well? I've always wondered about that. I like to see the old speakers in the mix too. It gives a good reference point for current and future speaker builds.
I've never watched a movie from a hot tub, I imagine getting out after a 90 minute movie would be kind of tough!

That Panasonic PT AX100U projector is very bright (current model 200U) and works very well in situations where there is considerable ambient light. It automatically adjusts its brightness depending on room lighting.
