Default lookng for center channel plans

I am finishing up Pete Schumacher's DA175/HIVI K1 speakers. I am looking for center channel speaker plans that will go well with the speakers I just built (which were 2 midrange DA175, 2 woofer DA175 and 1 HIVI K1 per speaker).

    Thank you.

That's what Scott S did a while back.

You could just build one more of what you already have, big as it is. But if you want to cut down one the size, a pair of those woofers and the same tweeter would match well. Just put the tweeter above a pair of those woofers sitting side-by-side.

But this would make for a great center channel.

    Check the link below.

If I do two woofers and a tweeter, am I wiring one woofer for mid and one for low?

Just a two-way, not a 2.5-way. The XO is a little simpler too.

So basically I am getting rid of everything after where the mids hook up - deleting the Iron core coil, 6.8uf cap and 22 resistor?

The XO will need to be reworked.

Shoot me an email to remind me to re-run the sim.
