Car Speakers
I am looking for a good pair of 6" X 9" or 6-1/2" speakers for my car.
Has anybody heard these: Dual XNP693 6"x9" Triaxial Part Number 267-557?
I found these on sale for $65, Alpine SPS-69C2, 6"x9" 2-Way. I listened to these at Best Buy and liked the sound better than the other speakers on display.

Re: Car Speakers
I haven't heard either set, but I'd pick the Alpines. Here's why: I find that with car audio, as with many things, you really get what you pay for. Those cheaper brand of speakers like Dual, Legacy, Pyle, etc, probably have acceptable enough sound and reasonable power handling.
But I'd bet good money that the Alpine speakers would probably outlast the Duals, handle more power, and probably sound better to someone with a good ear.
Just my opinion, but I hope it helps.
