connecting two devices

I have a kenwood ka-1100sd amp that does not have a tuner. I do not have a stand-alone tuner, but I do have an old Sansui receiver (amp + tuner).

I'd like to just use the tuner off the Sansui and run it through the Kenwood amp. The Sansui has no pre-out.

Is this as simple as running the Tape Mon (or is it the Tape Rec? ) out of the Sansui into the Kenwood?

All suggestions welcome, oh and the Sansui is Model 2000.

Yes.

Yup. Tape Rec out of the Sansui into a line (aux) input of the Kenwood. Set the Sansui's input selector to AM or FM, as desired.

...you can use the headphone jack on the Sansui. A 1/4" stereo to left/right RCA adapter will fix you right up. Then just use the volume knob on the Sansui to adjust your gain. -CJB

Thanks to all who responded. the Tape Rec out method worked perfect. Now I need an antenna.
