Veneer vacuum press (Indiana)...SOLD
I have a 4'x4' vacuum bag with pump that I purchased a few years ago from TapeEase (CD1001) as a backup press for my shop and I've used it maybe a dozen times. Good bag with no holes and strong pump. It holds a 4'x4' sheet with no problem and you could probably fit most floor standers inside. I paid a little over $300 would like to get $175 + shipping for it. This is a much better way to press your veneer than using contact cement.

I'm in Michigan City up by the big lake. I also have an extra VacuPress Hi-flo 10cfm industrial pump if anyone is interested. I need to get about $600 out of this pump w/o bag.

You're not far away! Going to the TS/DIY in Dayton in a few weeks?
You and Terrawood ought to join the "Injun'ana Speakerfolk" social group on the forum. There's quite a few of us in Hoosierland!

Re: Veneer vacuum press (Indiana)
The large vacupress is sold.
The smaller vacuum pump/bag kit is still up for grabs. Don't tell me you veneer with contact cement, this bag is a steal. I will pick up the shipping bill in CONUS, just get it out of my way.
Wolf, I'm not planning to go to the fest...I'm overloaded in my woodshop with 13 speaker enclosures past due Shoot me an e-mail (vango79(at)hotmail.com) and we can hook up sometime. If all the cards fall into place, later this summer I'll host a session at my loft with a pair Selah 3-ways, maybe a pair of Ricks new arrays and who knows what else, maybe Bob at SP Tech will lend us a demo pair.
