    Default 27TDFC + ???????? 2-way MT, already designed.

Cabinet sides may get curved a bit, but builder will keep correct rectangular baffle.

Builder can only fit a small to mid 2-way in his study.

The guy may be able to afford a pair of ScanSpeak in a month or so (tax return time over here).

Vifa, Peerless also ok, and more affordable.

Seas, unsure of availablity unless imported.

    Any suggestions ???

    Default Surely someone .......

... must have built an MT with the 27TDFC, and used something other than a Dayon RS. ??

If you can get Seas, what about John's SR71?

Default The guy says.. Zaph's ZA-SR71 may be the go. OK John ??

It is the size he wants. We will have to get the ER18 from Madisound.
Waiting for freight cost. I have a pair of TDFC's he can have to get him started. (got given a pair of D26NC the other day. what comes around goes around etc)

All x-o components will be Jantzen coils and caps because that's what we can get. The only value that we can't match is the 3.5ohm, but I'm sure a pair of 6.8ohm in parallel will be close enough, and I will have to unwind a 3.9mH P-core to 3.3mH for him.

Maybe use a Visaton SAF cap for the 40uF in the impedance compensation.

Anyone see any problem with these components, I can't !

The guy is a pretty good carpenter, so once I've sorted things out for him, he's on his own.
