Default FS: Alpine CDA-7977 Automotive CD player

I bought a bunch of headunits trying to see what would fit best in my vehicle. This Alpine CDA-7977 is a very nice deck - the motorized faceplace folds down to access the CD, and it's angle-adjustable. It has some limited equalizer functions built in as well as high and low pass crossovers and three pairs of RCA outputs (front, rear and subwoofer).

I bought this with a damaged CD mechanism and replaced it with a newer (but not brand new) mechanism. It's in good condition, with minor cosmetic scratches to the knob. The screen is nice and bright (Biolite). Here is a link to a description of the unit:

I have a new sleeve for it and the wiring harness is included. I will post pics of the actual unit soon.

    $100 OBO. I accept Paypal.

    Thank you!

Hey Aaron, I have the amplifier from a Boston Acoustics VR2000 powered sub, rated at 350 watts r.m.s. (4 ohms I think). The unit still works well, but has a highish frequency HUM which does'nt change with volume or crossover settings. It's strange in that the HUM is'nt centered around 60 hz, it sounds more like 300 hz, and is quite loud. I was wondering if you'd have any use for it. If so, would you be willing to trade for the Alpine 7977 deck? If not, that's fine- I'll probably just offer it to you for free if you want it. Shipping would be around $10 for a flat Rate Priority box. Hope all is well, Aric

I was all excited until I found out it's a home audio sub.

Truthfully, I really need the dough. My garage project keeps making this giant sucking sound. Offer me anything - I might take it.

I'm in the same boat- started large house addition last year- ran out of funds.
