Replacement driver for Canton Plus C sub. 12" 1.075 cuft sealed. Suggestions?

I bought have came across a Canton Plus C sub that has a bad Voice Coil rub. It doesn't play hardly at all.

I'm looking for a replacement driver for it. Something that would be equal to or better than the original. I use it with my Canton Plus X Satellites in the front and Canton Plus S Satellites in the rear, with a Canton Center. I use it all in my small office as a PC system all powered by a Denon Receiver.

The sub is a little different.

It has 2 pairs of banana/spade connectors, Left and Right. One pair goes to your amp for power. The other pair goes to the Left and Right Satellites. Inside the sub there are crossovers, which I am assuming are OK.

Quick specs overview:

• Sealed Enclosure
• The cabinet has 100W x 2 written on the back of it for music power handling
• The link below says 70W
• Frequency response is listed as 22-120 +/- 3db.
• External dimensions are 13.4" x 13.8" x 14.2", walls are 3/4" thick so..
• Internal dimensions should be 11.9" x 12.3" x 12.7" or 1.075 cuft.

Being that this is German, do I have to worry about the woofer not being 12" and being something slightly off and therefore not being able to replace it? What do you guys recommend? I'm very new to the speaker mod business.
