    Default Value of these Caps?

Can anyone tell me the value of these caps? Only way I can measure them is to remove them from the XO board. I'm just not sure if my guess is right.

    the marking 225 = 22x10^5 picofarads = 2.2 uF. picofarad = 10^-12 farad

so the other 2 are 3.3uF and 2.7uF

Those are good poly caps - no reason to not use them - I do.

    Thanks Brad,

    So K = Picofarad and J = Picofarad, too?

I believe that the letter markings have more to do with the internal "workings" such as temperature coefficients, as well as materials such as polyester, polypropylene, mylar... any of those film types.

Default The letter markings are tolerances

    Tolerances are upper case letters: M = 20%, K = 10%, J = 5%, H = 2.5% and F = ± 1pF.

    Brad and Bill are correct.

The last digit in the number is the multiplier. The preceding digits are the value.

    The letter is the tolerance.
