I think that post has some particularly relevant information especially on the topics of energy storage/breakup and distortion testing at real world levels.

I often hear off the cuff remarks about CSD not being useful... How can this be?

Has anyone other than Zaph used the woofer they are describing?

Like it or not, Zaph has a lot of influence and is going to be subjected to high levels of criticism.
Since the comments he makes are likely to make or break a small driver company this criticism is fair. I believe that two respectable people can have strong disagreements and still be gentlemen.

As petty and childish as some people can be, threads like that are by far THE best places to spend some time reading to really learn a thing or two.

Having been an automotive nut for a long time, I can tell you the most I ever learned was by getting in to a deep discussion or argument with someone in the industry.
