anyone for an expiriment?
I have some da175's I used to use in my vehicle as subs that I am now using in zaphs bamtm. I noticed that they have porous dustcaps. Wouldnt that defeat the purpose of having a vented pole piece (air would not be forced through the pole)? Also wouldnt some sound come through the pole? Maybe someone might try testing these with the pole plugged or withe the dustcap sealed with some coating of some sort. It would be interesting to see the results but I have no test equipment or I would do it myself.

Re: anyone for an expiriment?
I looked into this issue, and my testing shows little to be concerned about.
It was discussed here.http://techtalk.parts-express.com/sh...d.php?t=207099
