Okay guys, maybe I should have asked you first. I ordered some components from PE and also impulse bought a pair of the Peerless India Lko 120wff 5.25 full range, Peerless India K225 2" cone tweeters and terminal cups with 8.2uf caps, .58mh air core inductors and 8 ohm 7 watt resistors. So, what shall I do with them? Ideas boys. The prices were low I figured I could do something. Thanks for any ideas. Brian
Looks like you could make a small TM for nearfield or surround speakers. Without measurements might be a bit hard to get the XO done. The Cup with a notch filter on it might or might not be useable.
Luck, BTW my offer to help still stands, would provide what aid I can. Could measure these drivers and help with XO setup.
I am also really interested in seeing the measurements on these. The possibility of super low budget projects or even maybe an ultra budget line array. If anyone is willing to measure them I would love to see the results along with any possible ideas for projects.
I could use them for surrounds. Would be good to have all of my HT speakers home made. When I get them in how can I contact you Froste? Everyone has been a great help to me on my audio journey and I thank you. Brian
I actually got the peerless in on tuesday so if you would like to measure them for me and help me out in my learning Mr. Froste it would be much appreciated. Let me know how to contact you and we can set something up.
Another question. What makes a driver 4 ohm or 8 ohm, like inside.
Brian is testing the Indian 5 inchers, the Indian tweeters, the aluminum 2 inchers, and the onkyo 3/4 inch super tweeters for me now. Hopefully we can get him to post the results to the board so people can bounce ideas around.

Brain, Sorry I missed your post. You can reach me at TheFroste (AT) Hotmail.com. I'm free most any day, be glad to help out. We can measure your speakers and I can help with XO setup.
These seem a good match for the T AMP, both in power and impedance, but who knows about fidelity.
If anyone just gives these a good listen, PLEASE let me know.
I want to buy 10 and 10 filter/terminal cups and make bulletin board enclosures (protecting the speaker with a metal grill behind the cloth) for the cubicles at work. I might be able to connect the ports to the space under the desk for big bass response.

I imagine that 10 of them would provide great sensitivity for a t-amp. After testing I can say that these would work pretty well if crossed to a decent tweeter around -3-4khz. My guess is that the 5.25" buyouts were sold as fullrange for low end auto speakers.
I have attached my measurements from the batch knightat83 sent. Due to filesize I didn't attach the distortion graphics. PM me if you need them.
Are those measurements for the 2" Al buyout drivers accurate? The response below 1k looks terrible, and has the same falloff thats present on the 2" Peerless buyout which makes me wonder if its a setup thing. Does anyone else have measurements to confirm whats posted?
