putting an mtm on top of sub

gentleman i have a question for you, i am building some new speakers and i am going to have my mtm attached to the sub via some bent wood laminations, is there anything i can or should do to try to keep all the vibration from the subwoofer from getting to the mtm ? maybe some type of rubber boot between the connections?

The best thing you can do is build a "dead" subwoofer box. Double walls with an isolation layer in between. But I don't think that it's really a concern. There are plenty of systems that have all the drivers in the same enclosures and there's nothing wrong with them. Just make certain the bent-wood supports of the MTM are fundamentally sound. You don't want it swaying to the music.
