Re: Nady Dmp-2
I am not familar with the Nady, but reading the spec they quote:
Nady DMP-2 Dual Microphone Preamp Specifications:
* Inputs: Ch 1 & 2 XLR Balanced Inputs
* Maximum Input: Maximum Input 250mV
* Limiting: 15dB, selectable
* Input Impedance : 10KOhms
* Maximum Gain: 50dB
* THD: 0.07% typical
I don't know if you want this for performance or measuring, but the 0.07% THD is equal to -63 dB, which is not good enough for measurements (and I wouldn't think this would have realistic sound either, but I am not sure).
I am still working with my EMU 0404 which is a USB DAC and microphone preamp. I am having a feedback problem, but I think I had it connected poorly. It's microphone preamp specs are more around -100 dB THD (0.001%). You might be able to find something in this range.
