    Default amp turn-on

    is there an electronic device that will turn on a pro amp when a signal from my receiver is detected?

    yes there is a power outlet that a 12 volt signal will turn on. So if you have a proamp that can be turned on with a powerstrip this will work. what is your proamp? to test it if works plug it into a powerstrip turn it on. then turn the power strip off and on. if you proamp turns on the device I am talking about will work. I have to google it to find it be back with a link.

    thanks for the quick reply, phillip. i think i need to restate. i need a device that will detect an audio signal, as a subwoofer plate amp does.

    n-902 for 14.50 will put out a 12v signal from your speaker feed the 12v signal into the xantech

    thanks, phillip. the link to dave navone's site brought back fond memories of my car audio days. he and richard clark had major influence on my all to short car audio competition career ( 1 year novice in iasca and usac on the east coast)

    It takes me back, too. I still own one of Navone's car audio electronic subwoofer crossovers. It's good to see his stuff is still available.
