Hey folks , I am going to attempt a small two way with the Ascedant audio 6.5" in a two way book shelf design ( on my own , if possible) . The enclosure will be ported but Im not sure on the high end yet. On the docket is ..
Vifa , XT25TG35-04
Hi-Vi RT1L
Seas 27TDFC
Fountec NeoCD1.0 (messed around with this combo in the past)
Dayton RS28
ND20TA-6
Peerless BC25SC06-04DPF32 , that was a long one to type out
Any thoughts before I cut is appreciated

You want to cross that woofer between 1500 and 2500. Any higher and you'll get in to beaming issues, and CTC problems. The Fountec really needs to go higher as does the Hi Vi and ND20.
The ND28 should be considered as well.

Thanks Pete , decided to scrub the combo and went with the peerless buyout HDS 830875 and the peerless BC25SC06 tweeter in a JBL TLX121 enclosure . Had to cut the woofer opening out some and need to deal with the flat sides on the woofer (taped now) but managed to get some decent sound out of them. I do have some baffles cut for the JBL boxes but we'll see. I'll post some FR pics in the near future
Cool - will be watching your thread to see what you end up doing. I've got some of both of those drivers myself. I know the woofer has been used in some very highly regarded speakers both DIY and commercial.
The tweeter, I've not tried yet, but I'm hoping I'll be able to get some good sound out of it, as I like the idea of being able to do a time-aligned design.
Jay Kim has posted at least one (a few I think) designs using that tweeter and Peerless HDS woofer(s).
