they look oddly similar to the SB acoustics at madi as ring radiators. bit to bad they are B.O. only, might be a nice tweet to have around?

The DX25 has been around a looong time. First tweeter I ever used, actually. Probably a precursor to the XT25. I think they're discontinued now.

It's odd that the write-up makes it sound like just the opposite:

"...Based on the knowledge obtained from work on the legendary XT series, Vifa's R&D team combined a traditional dome design with the large surround of the XT..."

That is actually true, the DX was after the XT.

    Woah.

The XT was probably just out of my price point. I didn't know it had been out for so long.

IIRC the DX was actually a few months (or maybe even more) AFTER the XT25. Both are still available.

Not a bad tweeter either. easier to use than the XT25, but probably doesn't have quite the "air" of the XT25

Some day soon (or maybe not so soon ) I will have a DX25 + SB17RNX combo. On the shelf, I just have to come up with a cabinet design for them.
If people want to listen to wiggles, that up to them....

    I prefer music.
