The new layout works great, love it!

When will there be one for tweeters?
    Thanks,

Yeah! And will we ever see it updated with the Classic Subs, and all the new Tymphny drivers?

Why doesn't the woofer selection guide bring up a list of the woofers? All I get is a purple box that tells how to use the guide, but no product data?

Do I need to enable something on my browser?

Same here. However, the also non-working (in Chrome on WinXP SP3 anyways) car subwoofer selection guide is a really pretty pink

Hmmmm, do you have to click on something, or is there supposed to be a list of sorts on that listed page? For me it just describes what the selection guide is, but I don't see a guide. If it matters, I'm running Mozilla 3.6.9 on W7.

Don't think it's fully functional yet. None of my browsers show a table either.

Right now the Woofer Selection Guide is being expanded. Please bear with us as we are adding many more drivers.

Thanks for the kind words Lou.

At the moment, we are hosting Thiele-Small parameters for just about every driver we carry. At the same time, we are hosting free software (links, but I'll try to host the actual files in a more prominent place soon) for driver/enclosure modeling. If you want to see what something will do in an a particular enclosure, we offer everything you need... absolutely free!

We'll get the quick reference guide finished up soon, and I personally see its immediate value, but it will never replace good old-fashioned work to see what fits an application best. The hidden gems are always discovered by those that spend the time modeling drivers in different enclosures. To that end, you've (the Tech Talk members), have helped to create the Speaker Building Bible as a destination to learn what to look for.

We all have many projects that we are working on. Each and every one is designed to benefit both the first time PE customer and, most importantly, our loyal PE customers (some have been with us almost 25 years now). We are always open to constructive criticism, and do try to implement whatever we can when it makes sense. If you don't see something that you've suggested changed the next day (as Lou alluded to) doesn't mean we aren't working on it.

Thanks for making the forum a great place to go to for answers and camaraderie.

Just verifying that RSS210HF-4 is on the list?

Most people have no idea how much work goes into a database driven website. I usually budget a page a day. Even with the best tools, it's like programming in the 60's. Especially with javascript and the voodoo of Cascading Style Sheets. One misplaced comma, virtually no way to debug before you try it, 100's of browser flavors... 6 figures annually is probably a good place to start.

Should be very helpful. Was it up and then taken down? Zach you said: "The new layout works great, love it!".
How did you get the guide to work? No one else seems to be able to use it yet.

that the "Woofer Selection Guide" is up and running,

    or the FIRST ?

The little ND105-4 sounds like 41Hz in 0.30 cf. Nano Neos anyone?

(LOTS of new drivers in here, and many old friends are NLA. Also, there are a few "typos". One driver has an F3 of 3 Hz in something < 1 cu.ft. - IIRC.)

Wow, sealed F3 of only 3 Hz for the RSS390HO-4!?! That's amazing!

    Mike,
Thanks for this great tool. You mention some free software links you are hosting. I'm not finding them. I apologize if I'm missing something obvious, but I'm just not seeing them.
Thanks again for the woofer selection guide and for hosting this forum. It really is great!

The Woofer Selection Guide was a joint project of our Marketing and Web Advertising teams. I had nothing to do with it, but thanks anyway!

I believe you are referring to the Speaker Building Bible thread... which does need some updating. Hopefully I can find the time soon.
