    Default Removable baffle questions

I've decided to use a removable baffle on the speakers I'm currently building, and I'd like inputs from those who have done it.

Did you use t-nuts, hurricane nuts, or something else? How many fasteners would you suggest for a 7.5" X 38" baffle?

Also, did you put any kind of gasket behind the baffle?

    Thanks

t-nuts or hurricane nuts are good. I would have a gasket. I would use 8 the four corners and two on each side spaced even. here are the highest quality I know of.

for gasket material stick-on felt on the baffle and the attaching edge is a personal favorite. you need close tolerance for it to work. I like it because it will come apart with greater ease in case of a repair to the crossover etc.
