3015lf changed?

Has Eminence has changed the parameters of the 3015lf?

In case this is of interest to anyone:

I received an email from Eminence about my questions on the 3015LF driver.
In short the new parameters lited here: [ http://www.parts-express.com/pe/show...TOKEN=60663955 ] are accurate and reflect the "2010 build".
"There is a date code on all of our speakers that would make this easy to track down. The newer models would have a 67-10xxxxxxx date code"


The results from the difference in parameters (according to my calculations) is that any box you build from small to large up to 5.5 cu ft will be of almost the same tuning and almost the same -3db point. IMO you would hear no difference from the tuning predictions. Replacing a blow or damaged driver is then of no concern.

The difference however would be a gain in the 60 to 120Hz (or so) range of about 1.25db over what the old parameters predict.

However, the new parameters reflecting the "2010 build" allow for a -3db of around 35hz, say 7.5 to 8.5 cu ft box volume (interior of course).
Overall imo this is even better, giving more options and a very small gain in sensitivity in 5cu ft (or less) box volumes in the 60Hz to 120Hz (or so) range.
