    Default All-in-one measuring jig

    From the shop of MJL21123:

It would be misleading to call this a Wallin Jig. It has been changed to include an on-board amp. Check it out over on DiyAudio. I gain no benefit from this offering.

Are you sure that thing isn't made of concrete?

    Hope you are doing well.

    concrete?

Actually, it leans heavily on the prior work of others...to whom credit is given ...passed through the hands of one who knows how to make things work better...

    I ordered one

Ed, your picture here looks a little different than the one on diyaudio :P

I like to think I'm smart in some ways :P - but - I seem to misplace one thing by the time I've found the other thing (same goes with info in my head). Takes me a while each time to get around to setting up to measure impedance and it means my FR measurement (mic) is not connected... I started building myself a little impedance jig, but didn't get around to looking up which pins on the 1/8" stereo jack go where and have my soldiering iron at the same time.

This jig should mean that now, whenever I want to measure either FR or impedance, I'm good to go! Will make speaker measurements happen much more frequently for me, and thus, completing designs will happen much more quickly also

Now all I need is some nice weather and to build a little laptop table to take outside so I can do some outside measurements
