Default Question about juxtaposed driver motors.

I am building a center channel using the 3X5 JVC buyouts. I want to make the front baffle a convex curve. This will place the drive motors much closer together than they would be if the baffle were flat.

My question is how might this affect the T/S parms? I assume there will be some inductive effect as is the case with bucking magnets. I just don't know what to consider.

    TIA,
    Adrian

I'm going to venture to say that any effect would be negligible; certainly not enough to effect the enclosure design.

That's opposite of how Bill F did his line array center, he did a concave baffle.

I think a convex curved array would only help with any directivity issues that come with non-ideal spacing at high frequencies.

I'm not sure what Bill's reasoning is behind making a focused array (concave) for the center.

I've got a case of NSDs and a bag o' Onkyo tweeters to build some of Bill's little line arrays, but no gumption to rout all those holes.
