    here are some specs:

Frequency response is about 80-20,000. 3 way binding posts on back. The bass port is on the end of the 1-1/2 pipe/stand (T-line). Nice sound and a very good sound stage, lots of low end bass for a small speaker

A little fiberglass work with that form could go a long ways. I'm not knocking your design, I just see a lot of potential.

Bmaupin, what exactly do you mean by "see a lot of potential?" I'm not trying to pick and argument, but you mention fiberglass work and potential and then....

    Ickymagoo, those things look fantastic!

I love the design. The contrasting red looks great. To me, it makes the set seem like a modern art piece with some industrial European influence. I know PVC is generally (and should be) cheap, but at the Lowe's by my house, it's really expensive. How much was the total cost? I would love to have a Bill of Materials. What sizes are the pipe fittings? I want a pair!
    Thanks for posting.

I was thinking on the same lines. Build like these, but that will just be the framework. Then glass over over the squarish features of the pvc. You could even flare the end more to accomodate a larger driver. Maybe, even two flares, for a two-way using a compression horn driver on the top end...

As asked for here are a couple of pictures of my 07 RTL. The red is really dark, almost more burgundy than red. I like it but bet it will be almost as tough as black to keep up. Again thanks for all the good information on this site. Really made the decision easier for me.

    beautiful Design.
I really like it. 80hz to 20000hz is really nice.
Yes if you coated it all with fiberglass it would look better but a lot of us could build what you did in a day.
    (because of your vision)

Not as many could make them with fiberglass in a day..

You and pe should come up with a kit. If you don't then this may become true :

"I predict your design will go to market someone will see them and make them in fiberglass or ceramic ."

I really like them a lot. really cool look!
