Bummed out...
Getting bummed out with PE running out of 2 of the 3 drivers I planned to order today to use in my next project. And the LCR meter...... sigh........

Vifa tweets, maybe? They are out of all the different Vifa tweets I want anyways.

Nah, the planars and 8" sub. They seem to have no stock on quite a bit, almost thought I was on MCM's site!

lol ain't it the truth?
I like to think they are keeping the shelves clear for a huge new series of affordable Dayton products, like a SDVC 6.5" and 15" sub, an "all-in-one" measurement package, the "classic" drivers updated with non-buttugly gasketed frames, a paper cone series of the Reference line, and a 1" dome tweet in the $10-15 class that is as good as the Vifa BC25SG15-04. But with a truncated frame.

Re: Bummed out...
Tweeters with changeable frames for use with different sized mids and woofers would be neat. Say, 4, 5 1/4, 6 1/2, 8 and 10 inchers. Sell the tweets separate and then the frames as folks choose. Half frames would be better so you wouldn't be locked into one size with the other drivers.
I was set to start my measuring "lab" with the LCR meter; guess that will be on hold 'till more make their way to PE.

Might be possible.
an "all-in-one" measurement package,
Supposed to be on the horizon.
the "classic" drivers updated with non-buttugly gasketed frames,
Asking a bit much there I think...
a paper cone series of the Reference line,
Then it wouldn't be a "Reference Series" driver. Those have aluminum cones.
and a 1" dome tweet in the $10-15 class that is as good as the Vifa BC25SG15-04. But with a truncated frame.
I think the ND28 is the closest you'll get there, with the on-par performance task at hand.
Later,

Yes Wolf, that's why it is a wishlist
Seriously though, the gasketed frame has stopped me from using the classic drivers Looks are important, they really are.
