    Default " The Bonecrusher "

I just finished my latest DIY sub that I call "The Bonecrusher".

All enclosure panels were constructed by laminating 2 pieces of 3/4 mdf . The vertical corners have a 1.25" round over .
Internal dimensions are 49 x 18.5 x 25 for an internal volume @ 13 cubic feet. The exterior has three coats of roll on truck bed liner over 2 coats of high build auto body primer.

The active drivers are a pair of 15" Dayton Reference HF and the 4 passive radiators are Exodus Audio PR-18's with 1750 grams of mass per radiator.

For power I am driving the sub with one channel of my Face Audio F1200-TS . The drivers are wired for a 2 ohm load.

Excuse the photos , they were taken with my phone.

"Bonecrusher" because that's what happens if you set this thing down on your toe. I'm gonna guess that's about three sheets of mdf or so (based on the dimensions you gave) Yeah that things gotta be fun to move around. I bet it sounds killer though. Nice job! Got any pictures of the inside? What did you do for bracing? How did you do the big round-overs?

Yeah , the thing is very heavy but easy to move around inside. It has 4 of the super sliders at the corners so one person can slide it around pretty easily.

There are some carefully placed braces in the center of the box.

I do not have any photos of the internals but if I remove the pr's to re-tune later I can take some.
The roundover was done with my plunge router, It has a 1/2" arbor and turns that huge bit pretty well.

WOW! That thing must have some serious output! That is really cool.

More like Bugsmasher. Put one in each corner of the room and then we'll talk Bonecrusher.
