Peavey PR 1003t 70v distribution speaker?
I bought two of these old plastic / metal outdoor enclosures, but don't know if I can wire them as 8 ohm to my amplifiers. Perhaps I'll have to replace the cross over and wire a 1/4 connector. The 5 screw lug connections are:
GND--N.C.--12.5--25--50
The 12" speaker measures 6 ohms with a tester and the horn 6.9.
I haven't a clue as to how to wire them to a Yamaha 660 PA or a guitar amp. I have a 5 pound Crate Powerblock ss guitar amp needing an 8 ohm speaker. I have 15" black widow speakers but they are twice the weight.
I wouldn't mind removing the transformers since they would be lighter, but I don't have an amp that I want to risk damaging.
The Peavey Manual does not list the Ohm rating.
Thanks GW
