Default Hi All, Long time no post

Just thought I would say hello to everyone and see how everyone's doing. I'm contemplating a 2 way using the HiVi F6 woofer and the Dayton RS28A-4 tweeter crossed around 1500hz or so. Any thougts from anyone is welcomed.

I suddenly got the urge to build another speaker after many years of being away from the hobby. I've found that I need to refresh my memory of speaker building in general as I have lost a good deal of knowledge being away so long.

Well it's good to be back and I see a lot of the regulars posting threads so that is good. I got your message Wolf and thank you for welcoming me back. All for now

Hopefully this time you'll be more frequent than infrequent in your presence.

I kid you not about this. I was out mowing the lawn this morning (Monday morning, that is) and the thought just crossed my mind "I wonder what Paul O is doing now..." Damn it spooks me when I do this.

Hope all has been well for ya. Welcome back. As for the project idea, great woofer selection. It will work very well with an RS28 for sure. Don't be afraid to let the woofer breathe a little bit. It can be crossed over around 2K with very little effort and will sound great. Good luck.

That is strange because I was thinking of you too just a few days ago. I was browsing the threads and thought to myself, "I wonder where Shawn is" and here you are. Thanks for the advice. The only thing I'm concerned about the driver is that little peak around 500hz. It's not a bad one but still there. Maybe it will disappear on the baffle. Thanks again Paul
