    Iggy-
You're using tweeters with the Neo8, right? The Neo8 is more of a mid, and IMO requires a tweeter to further its range.

I have heard the Neo8 PDR version used as a widebander mid-hi driver to good effect. It sounded very much like the MartinLogans that I have heard, with a slight easing-off at the top end that the OP might find pleasing without supertweeters.

OK, I hear ya! I am just interested in this design and can't find too many build threads. I was looking at these Peerless 835004 SDS 6-1/2" buyouts and at the price and the way they would stack because of the frame I got interested. I figure 8 of those might be great with the right tweeter. I would love a ribbbon but cannot justify the expense for a first time build of a design
that I know nothing about. I have the BMF palns and saw those but I am looking for something a bit more "robust"
