A couple more (minor) complaints on the PE site.
When I click on a product, there are several additional tabs beneath the product picture (Additional Information, Reviews, etc). It would be really nice if these did not open an entirely new page when I click on them. Backing out to the original search can get tedious sometimes.... which brings me to my next minor complaint:
In the "narrow search results" it can be slightly frustrating that the categories do not stay expanded when you go back a page from a search. Clicking the back button two or three times only to have to do the "Click to see all" routine again if the time you want to look at isn't lucky enough to be in the top selections.
The above can be addressed by using frames, maybe?

it would also be nice if when you logged in that it remembered your view settings. I prefer list view and as many items per page as possible, usually when browsing getting things the way I like takes at least 2 or 3 page refreshes, and I have to do it for every product for every browsing session.

Okay, while we're complaining...
I like PE's site, but the one thing that bugs me is [Control] Click will open the clicked link in a new tab like it should, but it also follows the link in the current tabbed window as well.
I use [Control] Click to navigate more quickly, because I can close the new tab and immediately be back in the previous page without waiting for a reload.
The workaround is to use Right Click, Open Link In a New Tab.
This leaves the current tabbed window unchanged, while the clicked link opens in a new tab--but this is the only site that I visit that makes me change my browsing habit.
There. I said it. I'm glad I got that off my chest. I just hope I don't get banned for being critical of our host's site.
I just realized what a bunch of grumpy old men we are.
But what bothers me is the older we get, the more appealing things like ShuffleBoard and Bingo become (shudder).

Thought I was the only one, and thanks for bringing that up - it irritates me as well. I use the scroll button to click on something to open in a new tab with the same (annoying) results.

I've noticed the same thing when middle clicking to open in a new tab, but only in IE and Chrome. Middle clicking in Firefox opens the link in a new tab without following the link on the current tab.

I need to use FireFox more and you've just given me another reason to use it.
Thanks for the tip. I did not know that.
