E-Wave Mini?

Did anyone ever make anything out of the Klipsch buyouts? I was really hoping something would come of the 8 woofers I bought. I wish we had Zilch here to guilt me into trying something out and posting about here.

Zilch did indeed inspire quite a few of us. He got me involved in the E-wave effort, and because of it, I got very interested in waveguides in general, and not just for compression drivers.

Suffice it to say, that every time I look at these, I remember his efforts and passion for this stuff. It was extremely rewarding to help in the design and building of this set of "E-wave Mini."

I miss his posts too. Wish I could have met the man.

Hello,

My first post here, I've been lurking around many of the forums and here getting enthused about making my first set of Zilches e-wave mini's ( and the deluxe Econowave at another time ).

I'm wanting this version of the mini, but I cant find any info on this woofer configuration he shows in this pic, or the recommended cross over:



Is there any difference between either of these Mini e-waves, other than the wave guide, and compression drivers used and or crossovers, a bill of materials, ( I know it's probably here, just cant locate it )

I'm looking for a set of Left, center and Right for use with one home theater for either side of a projector screen, I was considering of Klipsch RF-8II References, or Chase Home Theater PRO-10 or SHO-10's, but I've really been wanting to get into building some of these styles of Zilches Econowaves, lot's of posts on how much they are enjoyed and admired, so I thought I'd give it a try.

Any help / suggests would be greatly appreciated, thanks!
