Energy AS-90?

A friend offered me an Energy AS-90 12" sub, (with amp hum) for a great price of free.

Anyone know anything about this sub? Is the driver or enclosure worth reusing in another design?

I have not seen it yet.

Energy subs have generally been reviwed pretty favorably. I have the Mirage version of the 10" and have been pretty happy with it. You might put a SA240 in place of the amp w/ hum. Or try to fix the hum. Not much to lose.
