Just how "full" do you want it?

Seems like it makes a lot of sense to use an ND20 tweeter for the top when it's got such good dispersion/smooth fr/low distortion over ~ 3Khz, and for only what, $5? (Oh, sorry, it's up to $8 now)

EDIT: Man, that is cheap - the part number you posted, only $5... Huh, what are you trying to do that you want something that cheap. I recall you saying something like: "when you think of the time your spending, it's worth it to pay the $$$ to get good drivers"...

Of course, if you can get good drivers for only $5, that's great.

EDIT 2: Less than 2mm x-max, wonder what the physical x-lim is?

    Have you tried the ND90?

It was suggested to me by Don Keele that these would make excellent full range line arrays, especially in a CBT. A little rich for me, though--at $5 a pop, that's over $200 for a full room sized array.

I am darn tempted to snag a few for a cheap DIY kit for my old man, though. He's in pretty dire need for some speakers, and some small ones could at least be recycled as surrounds later on.

I would look at the ND65 or the TB W2-803SM.

    thanks guys.

The nd 65 probably looks like the most usable one, though the price is a little higher than I'd hoped. Still, might have to spring for those.

Found some specs and curves for this at the tymphany site.
I'm not 100% sure it is it but it does look like the driver.

if you're going to spend more than $10, i'd pass on the B2S. i've used a few, and they're not terrible, but i just don't see the value when the B3S is 75 cents more, and the ND65 is probably a worthwhile upgrade too. I'd recommend the 2" peerless FR's, but it looks like only the $20 variant is left in stock. i got a bunch for $7, and used them for tiny cube satellites for a friend, with few complaints.

depending on what you're doing, and whether these are for desktop use, etc., this was a good small floorstander with the M3N, which is also a very good choice.

A couple of 2" auras have also made it to madisounds specials page.
