Any Sirius experts? Need advice on transferring lifetime acct btw individuals.

I tried the Google, just about everything I could find pertained to issues of transferring lifetime accounts of the same individual between newer receivers.

Basically I have someone offering me a receiver and Boombox dock and lifetime subscription for $100. I am wanting to know if I will be able to actually transfer this account to my name so that I can transfer the service to a newer receiver if I want. I also need to be able to have access to the account in case I have any other issues as well.

Thoughts?

You can transfer the lifetime account from person to person. But you can't transfer the service from the reciever to another reciever. Unless they have changed that but I'm pretty sure that is how it still works.

I'd run like Heck away from sirius....I have nothing good to say about them anymore. Their customer service sucks worse more than any other I have ever dealt with and they keep finding ways to charge you more money. just not worth it when internet radio is free....IE pandoa. If it were 6.00 a month i'd say go for it. But it's almost they where charging me $28.00 a month plus other fees for two receivers. Sorry, I have better things to do with my money.
