Swope TM: Another great Paul Carmody design

Hey folks, a few photos of a set of Swope TMs. They're are a Christmas gift for my sister.

As with Paul's designs, low parts count in the XO and surprising sound for the cost.

What sort of finish is that? It's neat lookin

Rustoleum American Accents Stone. Plywood cab. 2 coats Rustoleum Ultra Primer, 2 coats stone, 1 coat matte clear.

I'm pretty pleased with the results. My sister will put them in a shelving unit with a large collection of pottery. Thought this would go better than trying to match the aged teak of the shelf unit.

I'm sure she will.
They've put me in a bit of a spot. I have everything I need to build Amiga / Core. The performance of the Swope has really got thinking about the MTM, or as we discussed a couple of months ago, a three way based on the Swope Center. This along with the other bazillion speaker/electronic projects.

She'll love them! I love that Rustoleum Stone, but they've recently cut back on the available colors, and two that are gone are the green that Shawn used on the original Triska, and the black that I favor.

Oh, well.

I hear that! There's a dark brown that would look good in the right circumstance, but the black would be sweet.

Very attractive. I may have to construct some Swopes for my daughter. Hope they don't rattle the pottery off the shelf.
