Xmax for Vifa PL18WO17-04 ???

I just scored a pair of Vifa PL18WO17-04 midwoofers on Epay. These were sold by PE several years ago I think. There seem to be a few similar drivers with slightly different numbering, or with 8 ohm VC.

I am wondering if anyone ever found a datasheet for these, or measures or knows the Xmax. It's not too important, since I want to use them as a wideband midrange, but I would like to know. I have the TS parameters from PE's measurements, but these don't include Xmax.

I'm pretty sure the Xmax is around 4 to 5mm one way.

I checked our whole database and couldn't find that specific model. The closest thing I could find was this:

Every single 4 ohm PL woofer we sold regardless of size had 4.0mm Xmax if that helps.

Hi Matt,

Thanks for checking! You're right, you did find the model that you (PE) sold, so I guess that one I have was not obtained from PE after all.

It looks like Vifa used the same motor for this size in the PL line, and only the cone is different. In that case, I should be able to assume that 4mm Xmax is about right.
