Question About Woofer Modelling Results
Got a quick question...if you model two different woofers in a modelling software (say Unibox, WinISD Pro, etc) and the response, excursion, and SPL curves are almost identical (to less than a 1db variance), would this say that the two woofers would sound pretty much the same?
I'm trying to learn how to correlate what is shown on the software graphs to how the woofer will sound.

In the low bass range, yes. But what's going on much higher up could be very different. That part won't show up in box modeling and requires frequency response measurements.
